Kenny Bowen is a photographer from Redondo Beach, and working everywhere.

The son of Ronald Bowen, an inbuilt Jersey City kid, respectively from his Greenville section. Born in California, Kenny started photography 2 years after loving the ever first: skateboarding in the fifth grade. Multi-media artist Harris Saddiqi introduced both; he excelled well in them and was a mentor. It led to skateboarding anywhere feasible with friends, using a camera everywhere along the way to photograph whatever wanted. Before graduating high school Kenny knew that no matter what; photography is something that can always be done. At any state of living, success, emotion, skill, resource, and most importantly inspiration; a camera can still take pictures with or without motivation, some will photograph with no user.
Hist first job was selling everything that could be photography at one of the world’s most established camera stores: Paul’s Photo Inc., a true genuine store. Kenny got hired at seventeen, and was able to start teaching photography after Veteran Leonard Monge retired from it. From 2013 to 2020, Kenny’s photography world exploded; his boss was and still is in his top three inspirational photographers of all time: Mark Comon. Mark taught since 1983 after taking over his dad, Paul. Kenny knew Paul’s and Mark’s knowledge was as genuine as it could be, it was as photo as ever. Their friends came and taught, Kenny listened. Keith Ladzinski, Nick Ut, Neil Leifer, Kenny Anderson, Peter Read Miller, Robert Hanashiro, and Matthew Jordan-Smith were just some of the artists and photographers that would come in and buy, sell, or teach. Mark teaches experiences, and took him along to Edward Weston’s home during a Paul’s Photo adventure, to learn some photography from Kim Weston himself. After working at the store, Kenny set foot for his biggest project so far, and hardest project yet; a trip across 28 states over 8 months during 2020. Ken is currently working on this very overdue project, curating through 25,000 pictures & 300 videos for a multi-media picture book. Kenneth is currently living in Redondo Beach..
